Sound Therapy
Every cell in the body is thought to have its own particular rate of vibration and to be affected by the different vibrations of different sounds. Sound from vibrating chairs or hand-held machines is sometimes used for healing (particularly pain, muscle weakness and fractures) and some musicians offer their music as a form of all-over sound therapy. Most religions use sounds like drumming or chanting to alter consciousness.

Each of the chakras is related to a musical note (from base to crown C, D, E, F, G, A, B) and American sound researcher Sharry Edwards has discovered that each person gives off a particular note. With this note she can find the sound they need in order to be cured of an illness.
