Reflexology
Reflexology is a well-established complementary therapy consisting of gentle massage on the soles of the feet and also sometimes the hands.

Exactly how it works is not known, but reflexologists think that the feet are connected to the rest of the body through energy channels. The therapy was developed in the 1930s from the work of a surgeon who used pressure on his patients’ feet to anaesthetise parts of their body. It is relaxing and pleasant in itself and can help a wide range of conditions.
