Keep Warm and Cut the Cost!!

We are all being urged to save 20 per cent on our energy bills, thereby not only cutting down our carbon emissions but also saving money.
It is possible to save 8 – 15 per cent on heating bills by fitting Heatkeeper radiator insulation panels behind radiators, which is quite an impressive figure when compared with the £7 per annum saving achieved by fitting low energy light bulbs. The panels were designed by a professor of physics on sound scientific principles: their sawtooth profile traps insulating still air between the panel and the wall, and increases convection by sending the moving air into a spin which distributes warm air more evenly throughout the room, eliminating cold spots and making you feel warmer.
Based on information provided by Defra, we can assume a saving of 111.15kgs of carbon dioxide per annum if these panels are fitted in a three bedroomed semidetached house (i.e. with 4.5m2 of panels). Heatkeeper panels are a low cost product with quick pay-back, so you are not just reducing carbon emissions when you install them: your reduced energy bills will typically pay back the cost of a pack within a year.
The panels are manufactured and supplied direct by Joulesave E.M.E.S. Ltd, an associate company of Naturewarm Ltd, which also offers a helping hand in saving energy and money. Naturewarm makes wool-filled bedding, including the Comforter, a wool-filled leg wrap which is perfect to keep you warm when you are sitting still, reading or watching television. If you want to turn down the thermostat on chilly evenings, the Naturewarm Comforter is ideal.
All Naturewarm products are made with British wool, a renewable, natural fibre and are available direct from the manufacturer at competitive prices. We spend about a third of our lives asleep, and the ideal bedroom temperature is 16 - 18°C (60 - 65°F). Wool is the ideal material for producing a stable microclimate for the sleeper, giving a steady, comfortable temperature which results in deeper, more restful sleep.
A Naturewarm Bedtopper and Duvet should keep you snug throughout the winter, but if you want added warmth in really cold conditions you can always put the Comforter above the duvet.
