3 Divine Days in Magical Cornwall
If you haven't heard about Penzance’s Earth, Health & Mystic Fayre then read on. This community event has slowly grown into a busy fayre with a list of guest presenters that reads like a who's who of the mind, body and spirit world.
The Beltane extravaganza is organised by Karen Kay, from Love and Light Events and this years gathering promises lots of talks and workshops, including a
selection of free talks. There are also several evening concerts during the 3 day event with contributions from Dragonflymoon, and Son of the Sun. Added are free demonstrations, a vegetarian café and more than 50 exhibitors, including many complementary therapists, local arts and crafts people, healers and metaphysical counsellors.
3 days hardly seems to be enough time to see and hear the eclectic mixture on offer. Says Karen, "I am honoured to welcome Gill Edwards (author of Living Magically), William Bloom, Inti Cesar Malaquez,, Chris Luttichau and Linda Sonnett to this year’s fayre. I have worked hard to establish this event, and I really love my work, especially when I see the faces of the people who have never been to anything like this before. It is such a good feeling to know that you have played a small part in showing people a different and positive way of living".
The fayre strongly promotes complementary therapies and healing as well as the environmental aspect of living, and the Cornwall Sustainable Trust and Cornwall Wildlife Trust will be in attendance. With healers and therapists galore, you can sample a number of taster and full treatments including, Emotional Freedom Technique, spiritual healing and Reiki to name but a few. There will also be a series of workshops including a sacred sweatlodge with Peruvian shaman, Inti Cesar Malasquez, which will be held at another location near Penzance.
The Beltane fayre takes place on 29th, 30th April and Bank Holiday Monday 1st May at St Johns Hall, Alverton Street, Penzance. Doors open from 10 am daily, and admission is £2.50 . Families are welcomed with children under 16 admitted free of charge. Call: 01736 330201 visit www.mysticfayre.co.uk
